Bob Lindeman

Bob Lindeman is a Managing Director and Founding Partner of  The Overture Group, LLC.

Bob’s consulting experience includes 25 years as a partner at RSM McGladrey, a major international accounting and consulting firm, performing a variety of engagements in such industries as manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, associations, and professional services. He also served in various leadership positions at RSM McGladrey during those years.

Bob has served on and currently serves on several boards of privately held companies and a major not for profit. His public accounting, consulting and board experience provides a unique perspective when working with clients on executive compensation and recruitment matters. His passion for working with clients on talent management matters combined with this experience, allows him to build a strong valued added relationship with clients.

Bob sits on 2 privately held boards one of which he chairs the compensation committee and functions as the lead director.  In addition, he also sits on the Catholic Charities Board of Greater Chicagoland and is the Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Compensation Committees. Bob is a past member of the AICPA’s Consulting Services Executive Committee, RSM McGladrey and Pullen’s Board of Directors and Executive Management Committee, and 4 privately held advisory and statutory boards.

Bob has been consulting for 30 plus years and excels at executive and management compensation and recruitment, ownership and management succession plan development and transition planning, organizational design/organizational planning and strategic planning. Bob's career in consulting services has also led him to become an expert in profit enhancement and financial planning, annual sales force and long term incentive plan design and implementation as well as advisory board development.

Bob is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), WorldatWork (previously American Compensation Association), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Private Director Association (Founding Member, and The ESOP Association.

Bob is a past member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, the Institute of Exit Planners as well as, the Vistage International Inc., CEO Network and Education Forum.

Bob is currently a registered Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois, A National Association of Corporate Directors and a Certified Exit Planner (ownership and management succession).

Bob is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also has attended numerous graduate-level courses in Organizational Behavior and Business Strategy at the Benedictine University. In addition he completed the 2 year RSM McGladrey Business Advisory Program through the University of Chicago in 2003.
